We are rewriting history!
In 2020, we have completely reinvented ourselves and therefore we cannot tell you tell you any history yet. But you are welcome to read the history of the Ebertor here. What happened so far ... The "Eberbacher Hof" at Boppard!

For 500 years, from 1341 until the French Revolution, there was a farmhouse the place of today's Ebertor-Parkrestaurant stood the "Eberbacher Hof", in the 14th century one of the great administrative centers of the Eberbach estate. The end of the court came with the French Revolution. The last Zellerar of the court, Benedikt Kalt, acquired the property for the price of of 3,675 francs. In the last quarter of the 19th century, the estate passed into the possession of the eldest son Franz of the Boppard-born furniture manufacturer Michael Thonet, who had an elaborate villa built on the site of the farm. Until March 16, 1945, when the villa was destroyed after an artillery hit, the magnificent estate was used in various ways as a spa house, a "city garden" and a "Hotel Rheinterrasse".

Finally, in 1949, the property passed from the Thonet inheritance of of Mrs. Getrude Stoeck née Andreae to the Fußhöller family, who began rebuilding the house in 1953.
