The "Goldner Stern" ("Golden Star"), a family-owned hotel with long-standing tradition, is situated in the center of the climatic health-resort Muggendorf. You find our village right in the heart of the "Franconian Switzerland", a most beautiful landscape with romantic rivers, bizarre rocks, enchanting caves and medieval castles. It is one of the most visited vacation areas all over Germany and - besides being a hiker's paradise - offers a wealth of leisure time activities ranging from culture to recreation to sports.

Although the origins of the hotel date back to the year 1668, our house is up-to-date: our new spa services offer advanced treatments, and our conference facilities are equally well equipped. We have been given a four star rating by the "German Hotel and Restaurant Association". Our comfortable restaurant with non-smoking areas and a patio is open not only to our guests, but to all visitors and hikers as well.

"Hotel Sternla" (about 50m across the street) offers the whole upper story as a conference facility. Of course you can rent one or more rooms according to your needs. Air-conditioned conference rooms up to 121 qm. All rooms feature daylight, are lightcolored and pleasantly furnished and can - aside from the offer deals - be rented individually.
